'we spent the first night enjoying Rebecca's cooking, which would have passed muster in any hotel. Home-made fishcakes, curries, white chocolate and pecan brownies, and raspberry and basil ice cream make up just a small part of her repertoire...'The Lodge also provides a fully equipped drying room, daily mountain forecasts and Andrew, a mountaineering instructor, is always on hand to provide information on conditions and local route advice should it be needed. He is also very knowledgeable about the high mountain flora and fauna.
