Glenfeshie Hostel
Description
Glenfeshie Hostel is located in the heart of the Cairngom National Park 4 miles upstream of Feshie Bridge on the eastern side of the river. There are only two other houses further along the glen ensuring a peaceful and tranquil location.
The hostel lies below the two Munros of Sgor Gaoith and Mullach Clach a Bhlair and is unusual in that it allows direct access with the footpath leading up to them being only 400 mtrs distant.
Glenfeshie Hostel sleeps 16 in 3 x 4 bed bunk rooms and 1 x 4 single-bed room. There is a communal living room heated by a large wood burning stove and a fully equpped modern kitchen. There are 3 heated shower rooms along with a drying room/laundry room.
Red squirrels can be seen most days in the adjacent woodlands and Capercaillie have been seen in the winter. Red deer are a common site, grazing in the fields between the hostel and the river.
