CRAGGAN BUNKHOUSE is a converted farmhouse that sleeps up to 27 people over two light & airy bunk-rooms of 11 & 12 beds each, & a cosier 4-bed room. CRAGGAN BOTHY is a converted steading offering snug & cosy accommodation across a single floor for up to six people.

Part of Craggan Outdoors activity centre, a wide range of outdoor activities are available on site. See www.cragganoutdoors.co.uk for full details, then ask us about our 'stay & play' packages.

For walkers it is close to both the Speyside Way & Dava Way, making for a perfect overnight stop, or a central base for a longer duration. Likewise for paddlers doing a descent of the Spey. Winter sports are close by, with both the Lecht & Cairngorm ski/snowboard areas just a 30-40 minute drive. We are also cyclist & biker-friendly.

CRAGGAN BUNKHOUSE & BOTHY are also perfect if you just need 'a big space', such as get-togethers of friends & family, a base for educational field trips, stag & hen parties, an 'away from it all' setting for corporate meetings....& so on.

Basically, if you need good value, light & bright accommodation in a fantastic setting for a group numbering from a handful up to more than 30, then CRAGGAN BUNKHOUSE & BOTHY is the place for you!

Stays of any duration are welcome. Great value 'stay & play' packages are available for those that wish to combine accommodation with activities. The larger the group, the better the deal!

Sleeps: 33 - Bunkhouse has 3 rooms of 4, 11 & 12 beds. Bothy has one room of 6 beds

Facilities

Off road parking, central heated, double glazed, large well equipped kitchen in bunkhouse, & similarly well equipped but smaller kitchen in bothy, large dining/common room area in bunkhouse & similar smaller facility in bothy, bathroom facilities on maximum 1:5.5 basis, cosy duvets if not bringing own sleeping bag, small drying area in bunkhouse, TV/DVD (for playing of DVDs only), radio/CD, selection of magazines, books & games, large BBQ, outdoor activities on site, peace & quiet with fantastic views!

Smoking: Smoking area outside

Pets: No - Bunkhouse & Bothy sit amongst fields that are often full of sheep

Disabled Access: Limited in bunkhouse as all bedrooms are upstairs. Better in the bothy which is a single storey building.

Terms & Conditions

If booking more than 30 days prior to arrival date, a 25% non-refundable deposit is required, with balance due a minimum of 30 days prior to arrival, or at time of booking if inside 30 days. An early payment discount scheme is available for groups that are able to pay in full 60-90 days in advance.
